The only value in writing and reading lies in it’s ability to change us into beings who “experience the rapture of being alive.” In this we enter into the only relationship there is, that of self and the Mystery. We become the “I” in an “I and Thou” universe.
I invite you to remember that Mother Teresa, Mohandas K. Gandhi, Martin Luther King, Jr., Bobby Kennedy, Nelson Mandela, the Nobel Peace laureates of 2011, Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, Leymah Gbowee, and Tawakkul Karman, and others of their stature, claimed their sovereignty and did what they did for themselves. In doing so they fulfilled their promise of being. In this, the rest of us are changed. An invitation for the rest of us, yes?
Remember too, the written word is no substitute for your own genuine motion, connection and creative expression. I invite you to allow something in my writing to be such a prompt.
