Wholeness Unfolding

This workshop is a multifaceted collaborative undertaking of Don Juan Nunez del Prado and Stephen Victor.  Juan is a Peruvian mestizo and mystic, and he is a repository of ancient spiritual practices indigenous to the Andes of South America.  Stephen is North American and a field worker; formerly estranged from anything authentically spiritual; now awakening.

The Practical Mystic workshop is an unfolding yanantin. (A yanantin is a Quechua term referring to the harmonious alliance of opposites.)  The collaboration is an alliance of South and North, feminine and masculine, heart and head, Wisdom and intellectual understanding, sacred and mundane, unseen and visible realities, and the Condor and the Eagle.  In an actual yanantin (which differs from conceptual speculation) a something “wholly other” arises that is life affirming.    

This workshop is an approach in opening to the life affirming Other worlds.  Juan brings mystical and magical practices for working in the world of living energy and Stephen brings his practice of working in the fields of human consciousness.  Juan and Stephen are joining different means for approaching nature’s transpersonal fields of intelligence, information, energy and agency. In Juan’s world these realities are known as the Kausay Pacha.  In Stephen’s, Fields of Grace® and the Wisdom of the Human Heart.  

To what end?  To benefit from the something wholly Other.  Specifically, to open to spiritual wholeness.  To live spiritually rather than live the life of spiritual dilettantes.  To be done with spirituality as intellectual abstraction.  To leave a prosaic life and instead embrace and embody the poetic life that awaits.  To align your local movements with the grander choreography.  To embody and live the creativity, love, compassion and joy that is our spiritual heritage, which is right here and now.  To reconfigure one’s relationship with the Holy; the Divine; the Sacred.  To become Wisdom’s consort and collaborator.  

Juan and Stephen talked of collaborating for six years before the first Practical Mystic workshop was held.  Over the last four years, it has been convened four times in the United States and twice in Scandanavia.
